Available in UHF and VHF frequency bands, the XPR8400 utilizes dynamic mixed mode capability to east migration by automatically switching between analog and digital mode. XPR8400 supports two simultaneous voice or data paths in digital mode, doubling capacity without additional equipment. The GTR8000 radio supports Motorola’s Multisite systems and High Performance Data systems. It can also be integrated with Quantars and STR3000s to add channels to an existing IV&D site. The modular software design coupled with the Software Download Manager enhances the ability for future upgrades. One GTR8000 radio is needed per channel at each site.
